Solution Architect

Role overview

The Solution Architect will work with internal teams and external clients to understand business needs, shape complete technical solutions, and make sure those solutions support customer objectives and broader business targets.

What you'll do

• Create and deliver solutions that support project goals, satisfy business requirements, and follow the customer’s architectural standards.
• Assess and choose the most suitable technologies for large-scale programs, balancing cost efficiency and alignment with relevant internal stakeholders.
• Make sure proposed solutions fit the overall business strategy and long-term goals.
• Build designs that integrate smoothly with the current network environment and address the needs of other technical functions.
• Identify technical risks early and keep solutions compliant with all applicable regulations.
• Keep project documentation complete, organized, and properly maintained.
• Review existing solution architecture practices and look for ways to improve them continuously.
• Coordinate with vendors to stay informed about the latest technology developments relevant to the team.
• Partner with business teams to understand customer expectations, prepare persuasive technical proposals, and present solutions effectively to support new business wins.
• Develop secure, resilient solutions with strong safeguards for sensitive data and risk reduction.
• Apply advanced experience in designing enterprise-level solutions across multiple technology domains.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience in mobile or enterprise network architecture, especially in enterprise architecture or solution design.
• Hands-on exposure to one or more technical areas such as OSP fiber networks, ISP, transport, mobile core, or wireless networks.
• Background in designing, implementing, or consulting on service provider infrastructure.
• TOGAF certification, or an equivalent enterprise architecture credential.
• Ability to connect enterprise solutions with wider business priorities.
• Experience leading major architectural initiatives and guiding technical teams.
• Strong analytical skills to solve complex problems with practical and innovative approaches.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills for cross-functional teamwork.
• Flexibility to adapt quickly and keep pace with new and emerging technologies.

Additional information

This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and is offered on a contract basis with onsite presence expected.
