About the role

This is a strong opportunity for a finance professional with commercial instincts who enjoys working closely with leaders to improve business results and guide strategy.

As a Strategy Partner, you will serve as a dependable advisor to Executive and Senior Leadership teams. You will support decision-making through strategic analysis, commercial thinking, and financial expertise. Working within the Strategy & Performance team, you will connect long-term strategy, operational delivery, and financial outcomes so the organisation continues to create value over time.

The position gives you the chance to contribute to major initiatives, capital allocation decisions, strategic planning, and performance improvement in a complex and fast-moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Work alongside executive and senior leaders to improve commercial and operational outcomes.
• Deliver strategic analysis, forecasting scenarios, investment assessment, and practical business recommendations.
• Lead financial assessment for significant projects, business cases, and capital expenditure proposals.
• Assist with long-range planning, performance reporting, and shareholder-related reporting needs.
• Create relevant performance measures that link day-to-day operations with financial results.
• Support ongoing improvement efforts and spot opportunities to strengthen performance and value creation.

About you

You are an experienced finance professional who brings solid commercial judgement and a real interest in strategy, business partnering, and organisational performance.

Essential requirements

• Between 5 and 10 years of experience in finance, business partnering, strategy, transformation, or a similar area.
• A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business, Commerce, or another relevant discipline.
• Strong commercial understanding with experience connecting strategy to financial outcomes.
• Ability to turn complex data into clear strategic insights and recommendations.
• Demonstrated skill in building trust and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Desirable requirements

• Background in infrastructure, logistics, transport, maritime, or other asset-heavy industries.
• Advanced capability in financial modelling, scenario planning, and investment appraisal.
• Knowledge of port operations, supply chain systems, or logistics settings.
• Experience presenting strategic advice to executive-level audiences.
