Role overview
NT Health is recruiting a Switchboard Operator for Alice Springs Hospital. This position sits within the Hospital Switchboard work unit and supports both emergency response and switchboard reception duties.
Key purpose of the role
The main focus of this job is to deliver reliable switchboard and reception coverage at Alice Springs Hospital around the clock. The role operates on a 24/7 rotating roster alongside other team members and requires a person who can work independently, follow set protocols, and apply good judgement when unexpected issues come up.
Working pattern
This is a full-time, onsite position based in Alice Springs, Northern Territory. The successful applicant must be willing to work rotating shifts as part of a continuous roster.
