Role Overview

The company is hiring a Traceability Executive for its Hassan location. The role reports to the Commercial Head and focuses on maintaining end-to-end traceability across procurement, processing, warehousing, logistics, shipment, and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture and validate farmer information, lot identifiers, and origin details in ERP systems.
• Maintain both digital and physical procurement records in line with certification requirements such as Rainforest Alliance, NKG Verified, AAA, Café, Organic, and Fairtrade.
• Track lot movement during hulling, grading, and storage processes.
• Ensure certified and non-certified coffee remain properly separated.
• Use barcode, QR code, or ERP-based methods to follow batches accurately.
• Monitor coffee lots through dispatch, container stuffing, and shipment stages.
• Prepare traceability paperwork for customers and regulatory authorities.
• Work with logistics teams to meet export compliance requirements.
• Develop traceability reports for clients such as Nespresso, Starbucks, and Tchibo.
• Support audits and certification checks.
• Spot traceability issues and recommend corrective actions.

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant should hold a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Supply Chain, Food Technology, or a similar discipline, along with 3 to 5 years of experience in supply chain traceability, preferably within coffee or agri-commodities. Familiarity with certification frameworks such as Rainforest Alliance, Organic, and Fairtrade is important, as is hands-on experience with ERP systems, Excel, and digital traceability platforms.

• Strong attention to detail and disciplined record management.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with farmers, mills, warehouses, and logistics partners.
• Clear communication for client-facing reporting.
• Analytical and problem-solving approach to traceability gaps.
• Comfort working with audits and compliance procedures.
• Willingness to learn and use third-party and client systems such as Osapiens, Enveritas, Nestlé Supplier Portal, and OpenSC.

• Background in coffee exports or broader commodity export operations.
• Exposure to international client requirements and expectations.
• Readiness to travel to farms, mills, and ports as needed.
• Ability to communicate in both a local language and English.
