The business is looking for a detail-focused Trade Centre Assistant to join its Mackay, Queensland team on a permanent full-time basis.

Key Duties

• Support daily warehouse and trade centre activity, including receiving stock, picking and packing orders, tinting paint, and preparing goods for dispatch.
• Carry out inventory tasks such as cycle counts and stocktakes.
• Help keep equipment in good working order and ensure goods are handled safely and efficiently.
• Provide dependable customer service by communicating clearly, working accurately, and maintaining stock standards within the centre.
• Prepare and manage paperwork including Dangerous Goods forms, delivery dockets, and consignment notes.
• Assist the Trade Centre Manager with data entry, reporting, and ongoing improvement activities.

About You

Requirements

• Prior experience working in a warehouse or similar environment.
• Current forklift licence and hands-on experience operating a counterbalance forklift.
• Valid manual driver’s licence.
• SAP experience is preferred, though not essential.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Good physical condition and the ability to handle active work.
• Self-driven and motivated approach to work.
• Strong planning, organisation, and time management abilities.
• Comfortable working effectively as part of a team.
