Job Title: Customer Support & Training Ambassador

This role is fully remote, and we are currently hiring candidates located in Jamaica! Are you ready to break free from the ordinary and embark on a rewarding career that truly makes a difference? As a Customer Support & Training Ambassador at New York Solar Program, you'll use your communication and customer service skills to educate homeowners about the benefits of switching to solar energy, with no out-of-pocket costs. Despite government funding and incentives available in New York, many still believe solar requires a costly upfront investment. Join us in changing that perception!

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound and inbound calls to connect with homeowners in prime solar areas, build rapport, schedule and reschedule appointments, and manage other customer service tasks.
  • Educate homeowners on the advantages of adopting solar energy, emphasizing current government funding and incentives.
  • Utilize CRM systems, leverage sales resources, and participate in ongoing coaching to support customer interactions.
  • Deliver training and coaching to new ambassadors joining the team.
  • Mentor and guide all ambassadors to foster their professional development.

What we are looking for:

  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills (C1 Level).
  • Must be a resident of Jamaica.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and actively apply training methodologies.
  • Possess an outgoing personality, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.
  • Exhibit self-motivation, with the ability to meet and exceed performance goals while working independently within a team environment.
  • Proficiency with technology.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work a flexible split schedule, including Monday through Friday and a 2-hour shift on Saturdays.
  • Must have high-speed internet, a computer, and a headset.
  • A genuine interest in renewable energy solutions and sustainability initiatives.
