Role overview

Within the Treasury function, the company manages the financial backbone that helps global businesses operate smoothly in emerging markets. As a Treasury Analyst based in India, you will support treasury operations across Southeast Asia, South Asia, and Africa, with a focus on control, efficiency, and scalability.

What you will do

• Handle the full treasury operations flow, including settlement processing and remittance execution with local partners.
• Prepare and submit FX-related documentation and support cross-border payment activity with banking partners.
• Serve as the main day-to-day operational contact for local banks and partners to keep processes running smoothly.
• Reconcile settlements and financial transactions accurately and within required timelines.
• Investigate, resolve, and follow through on operational issues while meeting SLA expectations.
• Work with regional leadership to support the launch and operational setup of new markets in Southeast Asia and South Asia.
• Provide operational coverage for treasury processes in Singapore.
• Act as backup support for treasury operations in Africa to maintain continuity across time zones.
• Support process enhancements, automation efforts, and other efficiency initiatives.

What you need

• Proven background in Treasury, Payments, or Financial Operations.
• Good knowledge of cross-border payments, remittance flows, and how emerging markets operate.
• Experience with liquidity and cash management in multi-currency settings.
• Understanding of FX operations, currency exposure, and conversion processes.
• Strong reconciliation ability and analytical thinking, including working with large data sets.
• Advanced Excel capability; familiarity with TMS, ERP platforms, or SQL is an added advantage.
• Working knowledge of financial compliance topics such as KYC, AML, and central bank rules.
• Strong English communication skills for interaction with international stakeholders.

• Prior exposure to fast-growing fintech or payments organizations.
• Experience across regions such as Southeast Asia, South Asia, or Africa.
• Background in supporting new market launches or expansion initiatives.
• Experience contributing to automation or process optimization projects.
