Role Overview
Teckhorizon Inc is seeking a UX Designer to help shape sophisticated digital services from the early concept stage all the way through delivery. The right person will bring deep hands-on experience in user-centered design, information architecture, interaction design, accessibility, prototyping, user research, and the use of AI-based UX design tools.
A strong portfolio is essential for this position. Candidates who move forward will be expected to walk through their portfolio during a 10-minute interview portion.
What You Will Do
In this role, you will guide and contribute to the design of complex digital products and services across the full lifecycle.
- Drive and support UX work from discovery and concept development through production release
- Build interfaces that are intuitive, polished, accessible, and visually effective
- Design experiences for websites, mobile products, digital signage, publications, media, and other digital formats
- Carry out user interviews, surveys, research sessions, and usability evaluations
- Turn research insights into sitemaps, journey maps, user flows, wireframes, mockups, interactive prototypes, presentations, and documentation
- Apply a user-first process by testing ideas quickly, validating assumptions, and refining designs in cycles
- Help shape the product direction through research, sketches, prototypes, and user testing
- Spot usability and design challenges and craft practical, elegant solutions
- Contribute to key design decisions for both new features and existing experiences
- Use feedback from users to improve and fine-tune current interfaces
- Leverage AI-powered tools such as Figma AI, Galileo AI, Google Analytics Intelligence, and Microsoft Copilot for wireframing, concept exploration, behavior analysis, research synthesis, and UX decision support
- Work closely with stakeholders and delivery teams while balancing priorities and deadlines
Required Experience and Skills
The ideal candidate should already have experience leading complex digital service design and should be comfortable demonstrating recent UX/UI work through a robust portfolio.
- Advanced understanding of information architecture, interaction design, user-centered design, and core UX principles
- Practical experience with Figma and Axure
- Ability to produce user flows, wireframes, mockups, clickable prototypes, presentations, and reports
- Background in user research, usability testing, interviews, and surveys
- Experience creating accessible digital experiences from the outset
- Comfort using design, prototyping, collaboration, and web conferencing tools
- Ability to use AI-driven design and research tools to improve efficiency, personalization, and insight-led design outcomes
- Strong communication, stakeholder handling, scheduling, and client-facing skills
- Capability to work under deadlines and juggle several priorities at once
Preferred Exposure
- Understanding of network security and network protocols
- Experience with public-sector or government digital services
- Exposure to designing emotionally responsive online experiences
- Work experience on web and mobile applications
