Role Overview
LiveTrends Design Group is hiring a Visual Merchandiser to shape branded spaces and product presentations that bring collections, seasonal concepts, and merchandising stories to life. Based in Apopka, FL, this salaried exempt position reports to the Art Director and partners directly with Copy & Set Designer.

What You Will Do
- Develop immersive visual environments that showcase LiveTrends collections, product narratives, and trend direction in retail, showroom, trade show, and photo/video settings.
- Plan and execute seasonal showroom layouts, refreshed retail displays, and customer presentation areas that support merchandising goals and business priorities.
- Style products for meetings, campaigns, photography, videos, and special events while building strong lifestyle-based visual stories.
- Design and coordinate trade show booths, event spaces, signage, graphics, layouts, and other experiential elements.
- Build sets and visual environments for marketing production, including sourcing and arranging props, furniture, fixtures, and décor.
- Source materials and display components within budget, manage vendor relationships, and oversee installation, teardown, logistics, and maintenance.
- Work across multiple projects at once, track schedules and budgets, assess display performance, and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with Product Design, Marketing, Sales, Operations, and leadership teams to turn concepts into polished, brand-consistent experiences.
Requirements
- 3 or more years of relevant experience in visual merchandising, showroom design, retail design, set design, event merchandising, or a similar creative discipline.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating merchandising, styling, retail, or experiential design work.
- Hands-on experience creating and executing physical retail, showroom, trade show, or branded spaces.
- Ability to source props, fixtures, furnishings, signage, and display materials.
- Comfort taking a project from concept development through final installation without close supervision.
- Solid command of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Working knowledge of presentation and visualization tools such as PowerPoint, SketchUp, Canva, or similar programs.
- Capability to prepare merchandising plans, floor plans, mood boards, and visual presentations.
- Understanding of retail fixtures, display materials, signage, and fabrication approaches.
- Strong organization, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work on your feet in showroom, warehouse, greenhouse, retail, and event environments, including warm or hot warehouse settings.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for trade shows, customer meetings, retail visits, and company events.
