About the role
Platypus Queensgate is seeking a 3IC to support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager. This full-time position is focused on delivering strong customer experience, keeping day-to-day store operations running smoothly, and helping onboard and train new team members. It is a strong opportunity for someone looking to grow into a retail leadership career.
Key responsibilities
- Help keep the store operating efficiently so sales, KPI performance, store standards, merchandising, and stock levels are achieved.
- Encourage the team to reach target outcomes across KPIs and added-value sales measures.
- Track store performance closely on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis, recognising strong results and identifying missed opportunities.
- Guide and support team members to build morale, strengthen capability, and follow training and succession plans.

What you will need
- Previous experience in a full-time or senior casual sales assistant, key holder, supervisor, or 3IC role.
- A proactive, highly driven attitude and a strong willingness to get things done.
- Confidence in leading and motivating a team toward success.
- A demonstrated ability to lift sales and meet KPI and target expectations.
- Strong operational skills, including stock management and visual merchandising.
