About the role

Narvar is expanding its team and is hiring an Associate Project Manager to support successful rollouts of its post-purchase customer experience platform for retail customers. This position suits someone with solid early-career project management experience who enjoys working across functions in a fast-paced setting and takes pride in delivering smooth, value-driven implementations.

In this role, you will help customers move through onboarding and implementation with clear communication, dependable execution, and strong coordination across internal teams. You will also contribute to the growth of the Professional Services organization by applying established practices and AI-enabled workflows while continuing to build your project management capability.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee customer implementation work from kickoff through go-live and into post-launch support, keeping plans aligned, tracking progress, managing risks, and pushing milestones forward.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Customer Engineers and other internal partners to deliver projects on time and to a high standard.
  • Act as the main customer contact during implementation, building trust and setting expectations clearly throughout the engagement.
  • Lead technical conversations and make sure customer needs are converted into practical implementation plans.
  • Help manage change requests, including scope updates, schedule changes, and issue resolution.
  • Keep project records, timelines, and communications current and accurate for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Spot risks and dependencies early, then put mitigation steps in place to reduce surprises and keep delivery on track.
  • Take part in post-go-live transition and knowledge transfer sessions so customers can continue successfully after launch.

Requirements

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in client-facing project management, onboarding, or technical implementation.
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • CAPM or a similar certification is considered an advantage.
  • Prior experience in a SaaS environment is preferred; exposure to e-commerce platforms, retail systems, or logistics technology is a plus.
  • Strong planning and organization skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects while staying detail-oriented.
  • Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to handle project challenges creatively.
  • Experience collaborating across technical and customer-facing teams.
  • Comfort with foundational technical concepts such as APIs and data mapping; coding is not required, but familiarity with JSON is helpful.
  • High accountability, adaptability, and curiosity in a dynamic environment where each project may differ.
  • Experience with tools such as Salesforce, Jira, Rocketlane, or similar platforms is advantageous.

What we value

  • Strong ownership of your work and a commitment to clean, successful launches.
  • Attention to detail balanced with the ability to move quickly when needed.
  • Composure under pressure when timelines shift, scope changes, or multiple issues arise at once.
  • A growth mindset, with willingness to ask questions, seek feedback, and improve with every project.
  • Sound judgment about when to make decisions independently and when to raise larger trade-offs.
