Batcher - Concrete

About the role

Boral is seeking a hands-on Batcher for its Littlehampton Concrete Plant in Adelaide, South Australia. This role sits at the centre of plant operations and supports the delivery of concrete that helps build homes, schools, roads, and community infrastructure across Australia.

Working closely with the Plant Supervisor, you will batch and load concrete accurately, assist with everyday site operations, and help run plant and mobile equipment safely. The position offers variety, teamwork, and the opportunity to grow within a safety-focused environment.

What you will do

• Prepare and produce quality concrete by accurately batching customer orders through dedicated systems.
• Operate a front-end loader safely to ready materials for batching.
• Manage stock control, raw materials, and monthly forecasting responsibilities.
• Take part in safety activities such as pre-start checks, toolbox meetings, and incident or hazard reporting.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe yard through general housekeeping and maintenance tasks.

What we are looking for

The role suits someone with a genuine interest in the concrete industry. Prior experience is not required, as full training will be provided. You should be comfortable using computers and working across different systems. A flexible attitude, strong teamwork, and a willingness to help wherever needed are important.

Additional information

This is a permanent, full-time position with the possibility of overtime. The role is based onsite at the Littlehampton Concrete Plant in Adelaide, South Australia.
