Role overview
This position sits within the Partnerships Development function and focuses on discovering new growth avenues with external partners. The role blends commercial strategy, product knowledge, and relationship building to help publishers and other partners expand through Google’s advertising and monetization products. You will work on shaping opportunities across products such as YouTube, Google TV, Commerce, AdSense, AdMob, and Google Ad Manager.
The team supports Google’s wider product ecosystem by developing partnerships, go-to-market approaches, and growth initiatives across major business areas including advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, and Payments.
In this role, you will act as a strategic advisor, working closely with senior stakeholders and helping new partners unlock revenue growth through effective monetization models.
Minimum qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent level of practical experience is required.
- At least 1 year of experience in business development, partnerships, or management consulting is needed.
- You should have experience engaging with C-level leaders and collaborating across multiple management levels.
- Prior involvement in managing agreements or partnership arrangements is expected.
- Experience handling projects end to end is required.
Preferred qualifications
- Background in managing complex partnerships from start to finish is preferred.
- Experience in web publishing, gaming, or mobile applications will be advantageous.
- You should be comfortable working independently in fast-moving, changing, and collaborative settings.
- The ability to spot commercial opportunities, evaluate financial and business upside, structure deals, and negotiate terms with strategic partners is important.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, along with the ability to deliver clear, data-backed recommendations to partners, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams, are highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Spot new market opportunities and help partners adopt advertising monetization models.
- Develop a strong pipeline of promising prospects and pitch ad monetization solutions to new customers.
- Create and maintain relationships at executive level by serving as a reliable advisor and sharing business and product insights.
- Guide new account onboarding and resolve technical issues that arise during setup.
- Work with teams across Google to connect publisher partners with the right product expertise and contribute to the improvement of monetization products.
Compensation
The compensation for Ireland is listed as €70,000 to €72,000 annually, plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits. Pay is influenced by relevant skills, experience, and education or training.
