Cabling Coordinator

Role overview

The Cabling Coordinator will oversee and organize structured cabling requests across the APAC region, with a focus on data centres and network rooms. This position is accountable for making sure cabling work is delivered on time, follows standard practices, and meets compliance requirements while supporting both regional projects and day-to-day operational needs. The role may require after-hours and weekend support when critical work needs to be completed.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main APAC contact for cabling requests such as moves, adds, changes, projects, and refresh activities.
• Work closely with local site teams, external vendors, and internal stakeholders to plan and coordinate cabling tasks.
• Make sure all cabling work aligns with global standards, naming and labelling rules, and established best practices.
• Assess cabling plans, rack arrangements, and cable pathways to confirm they are practical and can support future growth.
• Monitor request progress, maintain timelines, and keep stakeholders informed with regular status updates.
• Check completed work, test outcomes, and supporting documentation for accuracy and completion.
• Provide support for weekend and out-of-hours cabling work when required for time-sensitive implementations.

Experience and skills needed

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience coordinating structured cabling work in data centres and network rooms, along with a solid understanding of fibre and copper cabling standards. Experience across multiple APAC countries or sites is important. Strong communication, coordination, and documentation abilities are also essential for this role.

Additional information

This is a contract role based onsite in Singapore, Singapore. Applicants should be prepared to support work outside normal business hours, including weekends, when project demands require it.
