Communications Manager

Role Overview

Crewit Resourcing Group is hiring a seasoned Communications Manager to contribute to a major healthcare infrastructure and transformation programme in Dublin. This opportunity is well suited to a communications professional with background exposure to healthcare, construction, the public sector, or other large programme settings.

In this position, you will help ensure that programme staff understand the objectives, processes, and changes involved in the initiative. You will work alongside senior stakeholders and programme teams to coordinate communications, create engagement materials, and support change management activity.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and roll out communication strategies and supporting plans.
• Manage communication flow with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Handle media contact, press queries, media briefings, and public affairs work.
• Draft briefings, statements, presentations, and other materials for senior leaders.
• Assist with stakeholder engagement sessions, meetings, events, and campaign activity.
• Create public-facing and patient information content.
• Coordinate programme announcements, change-related messaging, and stakeholder updates.
• Support training and upskilling activity linked to programme changes.
• Track media, political, and policy developments and recommend actions to senior management.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to maintain aligned messaging and strong stakeholder engagement.
• Contribute to the creation of KPIs and reporting measures.
• Lead and assist with communication-focused initiatives and projects.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in a communications position within healthcare, construction, the public sector, or a comparable environment.
• Background in planning and delivering communication campaigns.
• Experience producing content for both digital and print/offline use.
• Hands-on experience responding to broadcast, print, digital, and online media enquiries.
• Proven ability to execute integrated communications plans.
• Experience collaborating with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Public communications experience, including engagement with government departments, elected representatives, or senior public sector contacts.
• Strong written, spoken, and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Good grasp of communications strategy, media relations, and stakeholder engagement.
• Exposure to crisis communication and reputation management is an advantage.
• Capability to juggle competing priorities and deadlines in a busy environment.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Experience preparing briefing documents and executive-level communications.
• Excellent skills in building relationships and influencing others.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and functions.
• Strong leadership and project coordination abilities.
