Content Manager

Role Overview

ANFISA is hiring a Content Manager in Spokane, WA to turn brand direction into a daily stream of polished, story-led digital content. This role sits at the center of the brand’s visual world, shaping the Instagram feed and Stories with a distinct mix of lo-fi editorial styling, grunge-chic attitude, and aspirational skincare storytelling.

The person in this position will act as the key creative filter for the brand’s online presence, building content plans, guiding visual direction, writing captions, coordinating production details, and making sure every post aligns with the ANFISA identity before it goes live.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Own the Instagram presence by planning the daily feed and Stories, mapping carousel slide order, and assembling mood boards that support the brand look and feel.
• Present content concepts and visual direction for founder approval before publishing, ensuring the final output stays true to the ANFISA aesthetic.
• Write sharp, editorial-style captions for feed posts and use emojis thoughtfully in Stories.
• Develop ideas for props and set pieces, then hand off purchasing, carrying, and storage tasks to the Content Intern.
• Coordinate wardrobe, props, hair, and makeup ahead of shoots while directing the Content Intern to handle physical set resets and on-set logistics.
• Edit images and video to achieve the brand’s signature look, including color correction, shadow enhancement, and retouching.
• Work with an off-site professional editor when needed by sending clear references and managing revision cycles until the result matches brand standards.
• Review Instagram performance data and schedule all feed and Story content in Later.

What They’re Looking For

• Strong hands-on content creation skills, with confidence using a professional camera, digital camera, or iPhone.
• Good visual judgment and the ability to shape lighting and angles for the best possible image.
• Comfort directing interns and delegating physical production work while keeping creative control.
• Sharp attention to detail and a habit of checking the smallest visual elements.
• Ability to translate cultural trends quickly into a premium, lo-fi editorial style.
• Experience or comfort working in editing workflows, including basic post-production and communicating with outside editors.
