Content Moderator

Role overview

This is a remote, part-time contract opportunity for language professionals who can support the training and assessment of AI language systems. The work can be done entirely from home, and you can plan your hours around your own availability. The position is especially suitable for people with professional experience in writing, teaching, translation, tutoring, linguistics, or similar language-focused work.

Location

Remote work from home. The employer is based in Germany, but the role itself can be performed from anywhere.

Compensation

The pay can go up to USD 29 per hour, and compensation is issued weekly.

Key duties

You will review AI-produced language content for quality, correctness, and fluency. The role also involves creating short prompts and sample responses to help improve AI models, comparing multiple AI outputs against set evaluation standards, and sharing written feedback focused on language quality.

Candidate profile

The ideal applicant is fluent in both the target language and English, has a bachelor’s degree or higher, and preferably studied a subject connected to humanities, languages, or writing. Prior professional experience in language-related work such as editing, teaching, translating, annotating, or writing is important. Careful attention to detail and the ability to work from evaluation instructions are also essential.

Nice-to-have background

Experience in linguistics, academic writing, data annotation, or evaluating AI-generated content will be considered an advantage.

Work structure

This is a flexible part-time contract role with no fixed schedule, making it suitable as either a primary income stream or an additional source of earnings.
