Role Overview
The company is looking for an experienced, outcome-focused Contract Manager to oversee contract administration and ensure contractual compliance for a road and infrastructure project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
- More than 20 years of experience in contract management on large infrastructure projects.
- At least 5 years of demonstrated experience working as a Contract Manager on complex infrastructure assignments.
- Strong written and spoken English skills; Arabic knowledge will be considered an advantage.
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the contractual relationship with the Employer and make sure all obligations are fulfilled while keeping communication channels active for any issues that may arise.
- Draft, review, and manage contracts for roads and bridges work, ensuring the terms are clear and aligned with legal requirements.
- Work closely with project managers and engineers to understand project needs and provide contract guidance that supports project objectives.
- Negotiate terms with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain favorable conditions and reduce project and commercial risk.
- Track contract performance during execution and quickly address any breach or non-compliance to protect schedule and budget.
- Maintain complete and accurate records of all contract activities to support transparency and accountability across the project team.
- Carry out periodic contract reviews and audits to identify improvement opportunities and adopt stronger contract management practices.
- Handle disputes and claims effectively using strong conflict-resolution skills and preserving good stakeholder relationships.
