Role overview
This position combines senior-level paid media buying with creative strategy for a B2B acquisition program. The role sits at the intersection of campaign management and message development: you will actively run Meta ads while also shaping the angles, hooks, copy, and funnel messaging that drive performance. It is designed for someone who can think both like a media buyer and like a direct-response creative strategist.
The business is a coaching program for marketing agency owners, focused on helping founders scale their agencies. The team describes the opportunity as a high-growth environment built by founders who have personally scaled agencies and understand the path their students are trying to take.
Core scope
Your primary ownership is paid acquisition on Meta for a B2B lead generation funnel. You will manage targeting, testing, pacing, and day-to-day optimization decisions, while also diagnosing performance at the concept level and deciding whether issues sit in the angle, hook, offer, or persona.
Alongside media buying, you will build direct-response creative from the ground up. That includes concept development, ad hooks, script writing for ads, VSLs, and book-a-call pages, and crafting message frameworks that resonate with skeptical business buyers. The funnel uses a VSL leading to a book-a-call step, so the creative must educate, persuade, and convert a sophisticated audience.
The target market is agency owners, and the job requires the ability to understand different awareness levels and pain points within that niche. You will research what drives response, develop fresh angles, and turn those insights into campaigns that feel relevant to the market. Editing and design are handled by other team members, so your focus is on the strategy, copy, and brief.
The role also extends into organic acquisition. Instagram organic and YouTube organic are part of the same customer acquisition system, and you will contribute to strategy and scripting for content based on coaching calls and winning angles.
In addition, you will lead a weekly group coaching call with students, sharing what is currently working in the ads and helping them improve their B2B strategy. You will not be responsible for support tickets or client calls; instead, you will act as an expert contributor who can explain and teach the underlying thinking behind the work.
Work setup
You will report directly to the founders and work closely with them in a hands-on environment rather than a detached handoff structure. You will collaborate with editors and designers who manage production. You will not manage clients or participate in client calls.
Requirements
This is a senior role for someone who has already handled serious B2B spend and produced creative that performs.
- Strong experience running B2B paid media at a high level, including national campaigns and hands-on management of accounts spending six figures per month
- Direct experience with B2B lead generation in sectors such as agencies, coaching or information products, or high-ticket services sold to businesses
- Deep familiarity with Meta advertising and the ability to read account data without needing translation
- Strong direct-response copywriting ability, including writing ads, VSLs, and book-a-call page copy that persuades skeptical buyers
- A history of originating new concepts and angles rather than only iterating on existing ideas, with clarity on what each piece of work achieved
- A clear point of view on creative performance, current market trends, and how to brief work so others can execute the intended direction
- Ability to explain why an ad works in simple terms to less experienced people, especially in a coaching context
- Portfolio or relevant work samples
- Availability to work from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm ET
- Must be based in the US or Canada
Preferred background
- Experience with Google Ads and YouTube Ads
- Use of AI tools in the workflow
- Background in organic content creation or building a personal audience
Compensation and benefits
The compensation is $120K-$150K OTE, structured as base pay plus performance. Benefits include full medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as paid time off. The position is fully remote and offers direct access to founders with firsthand agency-building experience.
For candidates hired in the United States, the benefits package applies as listed. Candidates in Canada are engaged as contractors and paid in USD.
Selection process
Shortlisted candidates will complete a paid trial project. The assignment involves taking one offer and building the creative foundation for it, including multiple distinct angles aimed at different agency-owner pain points, a VSL hook and opening, and an explanation of how the account would be structured and evaluated to validate the strategy. The employer pays for this time.
