Role overview
This position sits within Growth Marketing and reports to the Creative Manager. It is a salaried, exempt role based fully remotely in the United States. Candidates must live and work in one of these states to meet tax and compliance requirements: AR, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, ID, IL, LA, MD, MO, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OH, TX, VA, WA, WI, or WY.

Compensation
Pay is location-based and depends on the candidate’s primary work location, relevant experience, skills, and overall qualifications. The posted annual salary ranges are: Tier 1 (higher-cost markets) $74,000 to $86,000, Tier 2 (national markets) $67,000 to $78,000, and Tier 3 (lower-cost markets) $61,000 to $71,000.
What you will do
- Create a steady flow of performance-focused ad concepts, including new hooks, messaging angles, and creative formats for ongoing testing.
- Own a structured roadmap for creative experimentation, prioritizing ideas and opportunities with the greatest growth potential.
- Review creative performance data to spot winning patterns, identify fatigue, and find areas where iteration can improve results.
- Turn marketing insights into practical creative directions that support efficiency, scale, and stronger performance.
- Refresh top ads with new hooks, formats, and message variations to extend their lifespan and keep results strong.
- Prepare detailed creative briefs for editors, including script direction, visual guidance, hook options, and clear performance goals.
- Develop creator briefs that give natural-sounding talking points and strategic direction for on-camera delivery.
- Work closely with Media Buyers to align creative development with campaign performance and scaling needs.
- Coordinate with the Creative Manager and Creative Operations Lead to keep strategy, production priorities, and execution aligned.
- Promote a testing-first mindset by continuously introducing new ideas, trends, and opportunities that can drive measurable business impact.

- A consistent weekly stream of new creative ideas entering testing.
- Clear recognition of the hooks, angles, and formats that perform best and deserve scale.
- Quicker iteration cycles with less creative fatigue over time.
- Close alignment between creative output and paid media results.
- Visible improvements in ROAS, CTR, CPA, and nCAC.
- Media buyers regularly receiving strong creative assets that help them scale campaigns.
Requirements
- Between 2 and 5 years of experience in creative strategy, performance marketing, direct response marketing, or a similar function.
- Background in shaping or directly contributing to paid social creative that has performed well.
- Solid working knowledge of paid social channels such as Meta, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Hands-on experience using creative testing frameworks to improve campaign outcomes.
- Understanding of direct response marketing principles.
- Ability to interpret marketing performance data and convert it into useful creative recommendations.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to produce clear briefs and collaborate across teams.
- Experience with a creative analytics platform such as Motion, or the ability to ramp up quickly on a similar tool.
Preferred experience
- Experience writing scripts or ad copy.
- Exposure to UGC-style creative and influencer-led formats.
- Previous collaboration with video editors or production teams.
- Comfort using AI tools such as Claude, Gemini, or ChatGPT for ideation and briefing support.
- Ability to weave AI into day-to-day workflows.
