Role overview
We are seeking an entry-level Data Insights Analyst who is analytical, inquisitive, and meticulous. The role focuses on turning raw data into practical insights that guide business choices, improve how work gets done, and uncover growth opportunities. You will partner with teams across the business to study information, build reports and dashboards, and share recommendations that support stronger performance.
This opportunity is well suited to recent graduates and professionals early in their careers who are excited about analytics and evidence-based decision-making.
Key responsibilities
- Gather data from different business systems, then clean, organize, and analyze it for use in reporting.
- Create and update dashboards, reports, and visualizations that help teams make informed decisions.
- Track KPIs regularly and spot trends, patterns, and potential areas for improvement.
- Translate analysis into clear recommendations that can be acted on by the business.
- Handle ad hoc reporting and one-off business analysis requests as needed.
- Maintain accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting outputs and data sources.
- Work with stakeholders to understand business goals, information needs, and reporting expectations.
- Communicate findings in a concise way to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Contribute to process improvement efforts using data-backed analysis.
- Keep up with analytics tools, reporting platforms, and current best practices in the field.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related discipline.
- Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving ability.
- Comfort using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Basic working knowledge of SQL and how databases function.
- Exposure to tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, or similar visualization platforms is beneficial.
- Understanding of core statistical ideas and how to interpret data correctly.
- High attention to detail and a strong focus on data quality.
- Clear communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing well in a team environment.
- Prior internship experience, university projects, or any previous analytics exposure will be considered an advantage.
