Role Summary
This is a full-time remote opportunity for a Data Partnerships Lead supporting a client focused on expanding and monetizing its data ecosystem. The position is centered on building strategic data relationships that improve product capabilities, support model performance, and contribute directly to revenue growth.
What You’ll Do
- Research, identify, and assess prospective data partners that can strengthen the platform’s data supply and overall model quality.
- Lead discussions and close data licensing and partnership agreements while keeping commercial goals and compliance needs in view.
- Partner with engineering teams to bring external datasets into existing pipelines and platform workflows.
- Track the effectiveness of active partnerships, study outcomes, and suggest ways to improve or scale them.
- Coordinate closely with legal and compliance stakeholders to make sure all partnerships follow internal rules and applicable regulations.
What We’re Looking For
- Hands-on experience structuring and negotiating data licensing arrangements or partnership deals, ideally in technology or AI-focused environments.
- A solid grasp of data monetization approaches and the infrastructure that supports data exchange and usage.
- Ability to use data analysis methods and tools to judge the value and impact of a partnership.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional work across engineering, product, legal, and compliance teams.
- Working familiarity with privacy and data-protection requirements such as GDPR, CCPA, or similar regulations.
