Role overview
This opportunity is being shared for a partner organization, which will handle applications and all follow-up steps. The employer is seeking a Decision Intelligence Analyst in the United Kingdom. The role is central to an AI-based decision intelligence platform, with an emphasis on making sure outputs are not only generated, but are also coherent, well-reasoned, and suitable for real decision-making. In this position, you will serve as a quality gate for reasoning systems, assessing how conclusions are reached rather than simply reviewing the final answer. You will collaborate with product and research teams to improve the robustness of AI judgment frameworks. The work environment is highly analytical, research-oriented, and centered on disciplined thinking and ongoing refinement. This role has a direct influence on how dependable and trustworthy advanced decision systems become.
It is a strong fit for someone who enjoys examining complex reasoning, finding weak points in logic, and helping intelligent systems make better judgments.
Key accountabilities
- Assess AI-generated decision outputs for logical coherence, strength of reasoning, and overall soundness, including weaknesses in multi-step inference and trade-off evaluation.
- Identify recurring breakdowns, inconsistencies, or drift in reasoning and record patterns that expose weaknesses in decision pathways.
- Create structured evaluation rules and feedback loops that help raise the quality of AI judgment over time.
- Support the creation of training frameworks by building edge-case collections and structured examples that can be used to refine models.
- Set and maintain clear standards for decision-quality outputs so results remain consistent and dependable.
- Work with product, research, and engineering stakeholders to connect reasoning-quality improvements with product direction and roadmap needs.
- Bring attention to broader flaws in reasoning logic early and recommend structured changes that strengthen decision architecture.
Requirements
- Strong analytical ability with the confidence to break down complex, multi-step reasoning and judge it critically.
- Hands-on exposure to AI systems, decision frameworks, applied analytics, or similarly structured problem-solving environments.
- Capability to turn abstract reasoning quality into defined and measurable evaluation standards.
- Excellent written communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity, structure, and precision.
- Comfort dealing with ambiguity, edge cases, and incomplete information while still applying rigorous analysis.
- Experience or background may come from applied AI evaluation, consulting, economics, operations research, philosophy of logic, or another similarly demanding analytical field.
- A questioning, improvement-oriented mindset that focuses on strengthening reasoning systems rather than accepting outputs without scrutiny.
Benefits
- Opportunity to contribute to advanced AI-driven decision intelligence systems with meaningful impact.
- Remote or flexible working arrangements may be available depending on the organization’s setup.
- Exposure to advanced AI research and collaboration with product and engineering teams across functions.
- Compensation is competitive and aligned with experience and skill level.
- The role offers a direct chance to shape the reliability and quality of enterprise-grade AI decision systems.
- Fast-moving, intellectually demanding environment built around learning and continuous improvement.
Application and data handling
Applications are reviewed through an AI-assisted matching process designed to evaluate candidates quickly, objectively, and fairly against the role’s core needs. The system identifies the best-aligned candidates, and the shortlist is then passed to the hiring company. Final decisions and next steps, including interviews and assessments, are managed internally by the employer.
By applying, you acknowledge that your personal data will be processed to assess your candidacy and to share relevant information with the hiring employer. This is done under legitimate interest and pre-contractual measures in line with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR. You may exercise your rights at any time, including access, correction, deletion, and objection.
Automated tools may also be used to support parts of the hiring workflow, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or checking responses for inconsistencies or verification signals based on the information provided. These tools support the recruitment process but do not replace human judgment. The final hiring decision is always made by people.
