WSP in the Middle East is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller - Saudi National to join our team in Riyadh, KSA. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining all project-related documentation, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with company standards and client requirements. You will play a critical role in ensuring efficient document flow across multiple project components and supporting the overall project lifecycle through effective document control practices.

Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the complete lifecycle of project documentation, including technical drawings, reports, specifications, correspondence, and records.
- Establish and maintain a robust Document Management System (DMS), encompassing both electronic and physical records, adhering to WSP's IT policies and specific project needs.
- Systematically classify, register, and archive all documents, ensuring meticulous version control, standardized file naming conventions, and secure storage solutions.
- Maintain precise logs for all incoming and outgoing documents utilizing approved tracking systems or software such as Aconex, SharePoint, or Asite.
- Facilitate seamless communication and document exchange with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and external stakeholders for submissions, reviews, distribution, and approvals.
- Verify that all project documentation strictly adheres to WSP standards, quality protocols, and contractual obligations.
- Provide comprehensive support for audits by preparing necessary documentation and ensuring all records are complete, current, and audit-ready.
- Conduct training and offer ongoing support to project team members regarding document control procedures and the effective utilization of the DMS.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process enhancements and contribute to the advancement of document control best practices across all projects.
Qualifications
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Information Management, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Accumulate a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a document control capacity, preferably within the construction, engineering, or consultancy sectors, with a preference for experience in the Middle East.
- Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing Document Management Systems such as Aconex, Asite, SharePoint, or comparable platforms.
- Exhibit a solid understanding of international document control standards and ISO quality management systems.
- Possess strong organizational capabilities, the ability to multitask effectively, and excellent communication skills.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
