Role Summary
This full-time Events Coordinator position is centered on leading the company’s event marketing efforts across Western Washington. You will secure event opportunities, coordinate and support a team, represent the brand face-to-face, and help generate qualified leads at trade shows, festivals, home shows, and similar events.
The role is highly hands-on and ownership-driven: you’ll manage the full event cycle from scheduling and preparation through on-site execution, follow-through, and performance tracking.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, book, and confirm weekly events and shows within the assigned territory.
- Build and manage event schedules for yourself and supporting team members.
- Recruit, onboard, train, and coach Event Demonstrators.
- Make sure every event booth is set up correctly, staffed appropriately, and packed down at the end of the day.
- Work events in person, speak with customers, and capture quality leads.
- Contribute directly to sales results through lead generation.
- Track inventory, staffing productivity, labor usage, and budgets on a weekly basis.
- Set event, weekly, and monthly performance targets and monitor progress against them.
- Keep communication with leadership and internal teams clear, timely, and consistent.
Candidate Profile
The ideal hire is a strong leader with experience managing people and delivering results in customer-facing environments. Confidence, energy, and the ability to connect with people in person are essential. Prior exposure to recruiting and hiring is preferred.
Work Conditions
This position requires weekend availability every week. You should be comfortable standing and working for long periods during events. A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation are required. Basic computer ability is also needed for reporting and administrative tasks. Some administrative work may be completed from home or from the office.
Preferred Background
Experience in event marketing, trade shows, home shows, or promotional marketing is strongly preferred. A background in B2C marketing, retail, sales, or related customer-facing work is also valuable.
Compensation and Benefits
The base pay for this role is $800 to $1,200 per week, with additional commission opportunities tied to leads and performance.
