Farsi Interpreter

Role overview

This position is for a Farsi-speaking interpreter who will work remotely from home anywhere in the United Arab Emirates. It is a full-time work-from-home opportunity. Candidates of any nationality may apply as long as they are fluent in Farsi; Iranian nationality is not required.

Main duties

• Provide live interpretation between English and Farsi during phone calls, switching accurately in both directions.

Working arrangement

• Remote work from home anywhere in the United Arab Emirates.
• Five working days each week, with two days off.
• Daily schedule is 9 hours total, including an 8-hour shift and a 1-hour break.
• Shift timings and weekends rotate, and most assignments are during night or overnight hours.

Home setup needed

• A private, quiet room suitable for taking calls and working without interruptions.
• A dependable wired internet connection.

Selection and onboarding

• Selected candidates must complete 3 weeks of paid training and pass it to keep the role.
• A company desktop computer must be collected from the company premises.

Required profile

• Strong spoken Farsi (Persian) skills.
• Strong spoken English skills.
• Excellent customer service ability and interpersonal communication.
• Capability to manage sensitive conversations with professionalism and confidentiality.
• Ability to work from a quiet room with stable wired internet.

Preferred background

• Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Previous exposure to interpretation work or a call centre environment is beneficial.
• Comfort with rotational night and overnight shifts is preferred.

Compensation and benefits

• Monthly pay is AED 5,000, made up of AED 4,000 fixed salary plus up to AED 1,000 performance-based variable pay.
• Premium medical insurance is provided.
• An annual flight ticket is offered after completing one year with the company.
• A 2-year employment visa is included, subject to terms and approval.
• A professional Interpreter Certificate is awarded after completing 2,000 hours of interpretation.

Visa eligibility

• Women on a family-sponsored visa are eligible.
• Men or women holding a Golden Visa are eligible.
• Men from Iran or Afghanistan who are on any other visa type must cancel their current visa before an employment visa can be issued; visa approval is not guaranteed and depends on approval.

No prior interpretation experience or certification is necessary, as paid training will be provided.
