Overview
Our client is a well-established FMCG business in Dubai, focused on delivering dependable quality and continuously improving its products and services. The company is looking for a Finance Analyst to strengthen its finance function and support ongoing growth through accurate analysis and reporting.
Role Summary
In this position, you will support finance planning, performance review, and reporting activities. The role involves examining financial data, preparing budgets and forecasts, reviewing performance gaps, and producing insights that help guide business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Review financial information in detail, including income, costs, and cash movement, to uncover patterns and actionable insights.
- Support the creation of yearly budgets and forecasts, ensuring the numbers are realistic and aligned with business goals.
- Compare actual results against budgeted and forecasted figures, identify the main reasons for differences, and suggest corrective measures.
- Prepare and present management reports that summarize performance and highlight important conclusions.
- Assess product cost structures, pricing approaches, and profitability to aid commercial and financial decision-making.
- Carry out one-off analysis requests and assist with special assignments and initiatives as needed.
- Maintain adherence to company policies, accounting practices, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or another relevant discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in financial analysis or a similar role, ideally within the FMCG sector.
- Strong analytical ability, with practical experience in financial modelling and data interpretation.
- Advanced Excel proficiency and familiarity with financial analysis software or tools.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team in a busy, fast-moving setting.
- High attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Exposure to SAP or another ERP platform will be considered an advantage.
