Role overview
Fitness Formula Clubs (FFC) is hiring a part-time Front Desk Attendant for its Gold Coast location in Chicago, IL. This role focuses on creating a welcoming club experience, handling member check-ins, and supporting day-to-day front desk operations during Friday through Sunday evenings, with some alternating shifts.
Compensation
The pay for this position is $17.05 per hour.
Key duties
- Welcome members personally and help set a strong first impression of the club.
- Register members and guests as they arrive.
- Serve as a point of contact between current or prospective members and the Membership Department.
- Respond to incoming phone calls in a professional manner.
- Handle member questions, concerns, and complaints, while also assisting the Membership Experience Manager when required.
- Carry out opening and closing tasks for the front desk.
- Process payments when needed and make sure the cash drawer is counted and balanced at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Take part in mandatory department and club-wide staff meetings.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for members, guests, and coworkers.

Training and onboarding
