Full-Stack Engineer (Frontend-focused)

Overview

This is a contract role for a Full-Stack Engineer with a strong emphasis on frontend work. The position is remote and offers hourly compensation in the range of $20 to $55. The expected weekly commitment is between 10 and 40 hours.

Responsibilities

• Build, refine, and optimize user-facing interfaces with React, HTML, and CSS.
• Work in partnership with backend developers to create smooth, integrated product experiences.
• Support backend development in Node.js, and where needed, contribute in Python, Java, or .NET depending on the project.
• Upkeep application quality by focusing on performance, maintainability, and usability across the stack.
• Take part in agile routines, code review sessions, and technical conversations with a distributed team.
• Stay current with modern development practices and bring improvements into both the product and the workflow.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience creating responsive interfaces with React, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong working knowledge of Node.js for server-side development.
• Demonstrated experience as either a full-stack engineer or a frontend-oriented engineer on live web applications.
• Good understanding of REST APIs and how to integrate them effectively.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills, along with a team-oriented approach.
