Role overview
Bumble Inc. is hiring a Graphic Designer to join its Creative Studio in the US. This team supports a global portfolio of apps and operates across time zones, partnering with internal creative specialists and external agencies to produce work that is effective, engaging, and culturally relevant.
In this position, you will create design solutions across print, digital, social, and campaign channels. The work is fast-moving and collaborative, with a strong focus on craft, originality, and brand consistency. The role reports to the Design Lead based in the UK.
Key responsibilities
You will contribute to a wide range of communication projects for Bumble Inc.’s brands, including social, growth, CRM, ASO, marketing, and partnership campaigns.
Your work will involve taking ideas from concept to polished visual execution, partnering with copywriters, motion designers, and art directors to keep creative output cohesive across all touchpoints.
You will also participate in brainstorming sessions, share ideas that strengthen the final output, and present your work to stakeholders while explaining the brief and the thinking behind your design choices.
Another important part of the role is protecting brand standards across all markets and channels, while also managing your own workload and surfacing any schedule or resourcing concerns early.
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate brings a strong portfolio, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to adapt design thinking across different kinds of projects. You should be comfortable working in a high-energy environment, bringing curiosity and fresh ideas to each brief.
This role suits someone who can work independently when needed, but also thrives in a geographically distributed team. A high standard of craft, thoughtful creative judgment, and an openness to feedback are all essential.
Qualifications and experience
You should have a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
At least 3 years of professional graphic design experience is expected, ideally within the tech sector.
You will need strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma, along with comfort using current design tools and a willingness to work with AI thoughtfully.
The role also calls for a positive, adaptable attitude, cultural curiosity, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to handle multiple briefs under tight deadlines without losing quality or clarity.
A solid understanding of typography, layout, and color theory is important, as is the ability to create across digital, print, packaging, and out-of-home formats. Conceptual thinking, creative problem-solving, and a passion for Bumble’s vision and values are also key.
About Bumble Inc.
Bumble Inc. is the parent company behind Bumble Date, BFF, and Badoo. The platform is built around kind connections and helping people form healthy, equitable relationships. Bumble Date focuses on dating, BFF supports friendship and community, and Badoo is one of the early leaders in web and mobile dating products.
AI fluency
Bumble values candidates who are curious about AI and willing to explore how it can improve their work. Applicants are encouraged to use AI responsibly while preparing their application, but not to invent experience or use it to answer questions during interviews. The company emphasizes authenticity and wants to understand a candidate’s real judgment, voice, and skills.
Compensation
Final pay will be decided based on the selected candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, skill set, and other job-related factors.
Benefits and perks
The role includes medical, dental, and vision insurance with 30-day eligibility, with multiple plan options available from the first day of the month after hire.
Additional benefits include unlimited PTO, one company-wide week off, and Focus Fridays every week.
Bumble also offers fully paid life insurance and long-term disability coverage, a 401(k) plan with a 4% company match when you contribute 6%, and 90-day eligibility for the retirement plan.
Employees receive a monthly wellness benefit plus access to Noom, Unmind, and Your Money Line. The package also includes maternity and fertility support, 26 weeks of paid parental leave, and premium app access.
Inclusion and accommodations
Bumble Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and encourages applicants of all ages, races and colours, LGBTQ+ people, veterans, parents, people with disabilities, and neurodivergent people to apply. Reasonable accommodations are available for candidates who need support during the hiring process.
Applicants may also share their pronouns if they wish.
Hiring process and AI use
Bumble may use AI tools to support parts of recruitment, including recording, transcription, summarization, and resume-to-role matching. These tools are used to improve efficiency and candidate experience, while all hiring decisions remain human-led.
Use of AI-supported interviews is optional and will not affect your candidacy. Candidates may opt out at any point by letting the recruiter or interviewer know. Transcripts and summaries are kept only as long as required by internal retention rules, and deletion requests can be made through the recruiter. Refer to the company’s privacy policy for more details on data handling.
