The Madison Melle Agency is a creative studio focused on performance marketing, visual design, and lifestyle branding. Based on Abbot Kinney in Venice, Los Angeles, and with a presence in SoHo, Manhattan, the agency develops distinctive brand experiences for hospitality, food and beverage, real estate, wellness, retail, and related sectors.
Role Summary
This full-time, on-site Graphic Designer position is based in the New York City studio. The person in this role will produce polished visual materials across brand identity, campaign work, printed assets, digital collateral, presentations, and social media content.
What You’ll Do
- Create design concepts and page layouts that support brand and campaign objectives.
- Turn brand direction into cohesive visual systems and identity elements.
- Develop logos, typography treatments, and other graphic assets aligned with each client’s style.
- Work closely with creative directors, strategists, and account teams throughout the design process.
- Prepare files that are ready for production and final delivery.
- Keep visual standards consistent across all brand touchpoints.
- Join brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for creative development.
- Support new business presentations by creating design mockups and pitch materials.
- Revise and refine work based on internal and client feedback while working to tight deadlines.
Qualifications
- A strong background in graphic design with a portfolio that shows thoughtful problem-solving and careful attention to detail.
- Experience building logos, brand systems, and identity guidelines.
- Good command of typography principles such as hierarchy, readability, and type pairing for both print and digital work.
- Advanced ability with common design software, including Adobe Creative Cloud tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, plus Figma or similar platforms.
- Working knowledge of designing for web and social media formats.
- Prior exposure to hospitality, lifestyle, or luxury branding is a major advantage.
- Comfort managing several projects at once, meeting deadlines, and incorporating feedback in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills, with willingness to work on-site with cross-functional teams.
- A bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related discipline, or comparable professional experience.
