Role Overview

The Graphic Designer for Marketing & Communications will lead creative work across a broad mix of visual projects. The role is focused on producing work that informs, engages, and inspires audiences while supporting both external and internal communication needs. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Communications, Content, and Creative teams to develop assets for print, digital, webcast, and experiential design projects.
  • Create early-stage concepts through sketching, storyboarding, brainstorming, and self-directed research, in addition to stakeholder guidance.
  • Take ownership of projects from concept through final delivery for both internal and external initiatives.
  • Protect and maintain the company’s visual identity and brand consistency.
  • Handle projects that range from simple design requests to complex print-ready deliverables.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of professional experience in illustration, graphic design, or print production.

The following experience and strengths are especially valued: a degree in graphic design, art, web design, or advertising; 2+ years in digital graphic or visual design, ideally in a creative digital agency; client management and full-cycle content production; strong command of Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects; visual quality assurance for image size, color, and delivery format; PowerPoint and/or Keynote; Figma; image optimization, retouching, manipulation, and color correction; layout, typography, color, and design collaboration with product designers; 2D asset and icon creation; motion graphics and dynamic interaction work; industrial design exposure; UX/UI design; print vendor coordination and printer specification knowledge; strong conceptual problem-solving ability; typeface and illustration design skills; familiarity with modern digital production methods for web and app assets; asset organization and archiving; multitasking and deadline management; cross-functional teamwork; and clear verbal, written, and visual communication.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay is listed in two levels: Level I at $80,000 to $95,000 per year, and Level II at $90,000 to $115,000 per year. Final level and base pay are determined individually based on job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience. In addition to base salary, the role may include long-term incentives such as company stock or long-term cash awards, discretionary bonuses, and the option to buy extra stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
