Role overview

Iceland Foods is looking for a Home Delivery Driver in Reading, England. This is a hands-on, customer-facing position for someone who enjoys being active, working independently, and spending time on the road while delivering online shopping orders directly to customers.

Compensation

The pay for this position is £13.71 per hour.

Main duties

• Load the delivery van safely, including manual handling and lifting heavier items where needed.
• Follow safe driving practices at all times.
• Carry out routine van checks before and during shifts.
• Make sure groceries reach customers in excellent condition.
• Deliver friendly, helpful service as the public face of the business.
• Support the store team whenever assistance is needed.
• Work on your own initiative and manage time effectively.
• Be available for variable shifts, with working hours that may fall anywhere between 6:00 am and 11:00 pm.
