About the Role

Atria Retirement Canada is hiring a Housekeeper for its Calgary community. This position supports a welcoming environment for residents by keeping shared spaces and private apartments clean, sanitary, and comfortable while maintaining a courteous, friendly approach.

What You’ll Do

  • Carry out routine cleaning across the community, including resident apartments, common areas, dining spaces, hallways, patios, and entrances.
  • Vacuum, dust, and clean surfaces and fixtures in all assigned areas.
  • Handle apartment-specific tasks such as emptying waste bins, changing bedding and linens, keeping linen supplies stocked, checking or cleaning heat system filters, and cleaning or defrosting refrigerators when required.
  • Support deeper cleans when needed, paying close attention to details such as carpets, plants, picture frames, railings, windows, and light fittings.
  • Wash and dry linens using the community laundry facilities.
  • Follow the organization’s sanitation standards and safety practices at all times.
  • May also assist in dining service duties, including greeting residents and guests, serving beverages and meals, taking orders, clearing tables, resetting dining areas, and completing side tasks such as restocking condiments and cleaning equipment.
