About the Role
This position is for a Human Resources Business Partner at an insurance agency. The ideal candidate must bring a solid command of New York State labor laws, along with broad HR experience across multiple functions.
Scope of the Role
You will oversee key HR activities including recruiting and talent acquisition, payroll administration, compliance, benefits administration, employee relations, performance reviews, hiring, onboarding, offboarding, and HRIS administration.
Experience and Background
- A broad-based HR background covering several of the functions listed above, with the strongest emphasis on recruitment activities such as sourcing, interviewing, and hiring.
- Strong working knowledge of federal labor regulations as well as New York State labor laws.
- Hands-on experience with benefits administration and open enrollment processes.
- Experience supporting employee relations, managing performance, and developing HR policies.
