Inspector

Role Overview

Valence Surface Technologies is hiring an Inspector to support quality control work on aircraft parts and related processes in Blairsville, Pennsylvania. This position is focused on accurate inspection, documentation, and coordination with internal teams to ensure products and procedures meet required standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out and record in-process, first article, receiving, and final inspections for aircraft components and associated processes.
• Review planning paperwork, tool designs, blueprints, specifications, and quality procedures to create clear and accurate inspection documentation.
• Check and calibrate inspection instruments and equipment before use.
• Work with colleagues across different departments to resolve quality-related concerns.
• Help operators understand quality standards, specifications, and procedures.
• Prepare and route nonconformance reports to QA administrators when issues are identified.
• Support internal audit activities as needed.
• Recommend better methods and process improvements that strengthen the quality management system.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in inspection is needed.
• Familiarity with precision measurement tools is required.

Compensation for this position is $18 to $21 per hour.
