Role overview
This position is within the Personal Lines team and is centred on renewals, policy changes, and keeping customers loyal through strong service. The role suits a highly customer-focused professional who can juggle several priorities, keep information accurate, and communicate with confidence and care.
What you will do
- Oversee policy renewals and support customer retention efforts.
- Process amendments to policies, update account records, and coordinate with clients regarding claims and related correspondence.
- Maintain files and records so that all information stays current and correct.
- Speak with customers about renewals, mid-term policy changes, and general questions.
- Handle incoming requests from both internal teams and outside contacts in a timely and efficient manner.
- Work with colleagues across different departments to help the team achieve its objectives.
- Carry out all work in accordance with compliance standards and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with additional tasks as needed and contribute ideas that improve team output.
Skills and experience
The ideal candidate holds an APA qualification, while a CIP qualification would be an added advantage. Prior experience in a busy, client-facing environment is important. Familiarity with Relay software is useful, though not essential. The role also calls for excellent communication, strong people skills, sharp organisation, careful attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise, handle multiple tasks, and resolve problems effectively. A flexible, upbeat attitude and a commitment to continuous learning and quality customer service are also valued.
