Role Overview

This position is for an experienced iOS Lead with 4 to 9 years of relevant background. The role is based in Chennai and follows a full-time work arrangement. The ideal candidate will bring strong iOS development expertise along with solid engineering fundamentals and familiarity with modern app architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and support iOS applications using strong object-oriented programming principles.
• Apply data structures and algorithms effectively in day-to-day development work.
• Build applications using Swift with strong attention to quality and maintainability.
• Handle memory management, auto layout, and networking concerns in iOS apps.
• Work with architectural patterns such as MVC, MVVM, and similar frameworks.
• Use Apple development documentation while building iPhone and iPad applications with SQLite databases.
• Create reusable components, frameworks, and static libraries on the iOS SDK.
• Design and integrate web service interfaces using SOAP and REST/JSON/XML with native applications.
• Follow Apple interface guidance and consider UI/UX best practices when relevant.

Requirements

• 4 to 9 years of experience in iOS development.
• Strong command of Swift.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Good grasp of data structures and algorithms.
• Practical knowledge of memory management, auto layout, and networking.
• Experience with architectural patterns such as MVC and MVVM.
• Familiarity with iPhone/iPad application development and SQLite databases.
• Ability to build reusable iOS components, frameworks, and static libraries.
• Experience integrating SOAP/REST-based services using JSON or XML.
• Awareness of Apple Human Interface Guidelines and UI/UX principles is an advantage.
