Role overview
Apple is looking for a Logistics Analyst to join the EMEIA Logistics team in Cork, County Cork, Ireland. This position sits in a fast-paced regional environment that manages inbound and outbound transport, distribution, and post-sales operations. The role offers the chance to influence how a complex supply chain operates, support major business initiatives, and help improve the customer experience across the region.
In this role, you will act as the link between strategic planning and day-to-day delivery. You will collaborate with multiple teams, manage supplier relationships, support operational programmes, and help uncover process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
What you'll do
- Oversee supplier performance by setting expectations, monitoring delivery against KPIs, and ensuring accountability.
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures that improve consistency and clarity across the EMEIA transportation network.
- Coordinate supplier readiness for key business events such as peak season and new product launches.
- Lead logistics projects and programmes from start to finish, with an emphasis on execution quality and customer satisfaction.
- Support the shaping and delivery of transportation strategy for the EMEIA region.
- Take ownership of important delivery events while balancing cost control with on-time service levels.
- Work closely with cross-functional partners across EMEIA Operations to launch new transport programmes and generate meaningful business insights.
- Run weekly and monthly supplier forums, guiding priorities and converting discussions into action plans.
- Partner with Finance to identify measurable cost reductions and help implement them.
- Use modern analytics and visibility tools to transform raw data into actionable insights for the logistics network.
Requirements
- Background in planning, logistics, retail, finance, or operations within a fast-moving, product-led environment.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, IT, Economics, or a similar field.
- Strong problem-solving ability with a practical and innovative approach to process improvement.
- Clear communication skills for supplier reviews, executive updates, and team collaboration; familiarity with Keynote is an advantage.
- Solid analytical capability with the ability to interpret data and support leadership decisions.
- Ability to work independently, influence stakeholders, and build trust across teams.
- Growth-oriented mindset with openness to feedback and continuous learning.
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills, especially when managing multiple demands under pressure.
