Overview
This role is for an accomplished, commercially minded Marketing Manager to shape and deliver the marketing direction for a long-established medical devices portfolio in Ireland. It is a hands-on leadership position with real responsibility for strategy, budget control, delivery, and performance outcomes, and it offers the chance to have a direct impact on revenue growth and overall business results.
You will work in close partnership with sales teams, supplier partners, and senior leaders to plan and implement effective marketing activity while managing a small team of marketers.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement the wider marketing strategy together with annual plans that support business and commercial goals.
- Oversee the marketing budget, making sure spend is prioritised well, return on investment is tracked, and results are measured.
- Support, guide, and develop a small team of marketing staff.
- Remain actively involved in major product launches, campaigns, and strategic projects.
- Lead marketing activity across the product and portfolio lifecycle.
- Work with supplier partners to keep marketing plans and objectives aligned.
- Collaborate with sales teams to produce sales enablement materials, training, and campaigns that support selling activity.
- Review marketing and commercial data to draw insights and inform decisions.
- Track market movements, customer demand, and competitor actions to spot opportunities for growth.
About You
The ideal candidate will have proven marketing experience in medical devices, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or a closely related healthcare field. You should have a track record of building and delivering marketing strategies that contribute to business expansion, along with experience managing budgets and assessing campaign performance.
A solid grasp of healthcare, clinical, and procurement settings is important, as is the ability to work across functions with sales teams and outside stakeholders. Strong analytical thinking, the ability to turn data into practical actions, prior people management experience, and excellent communication and influencing skills are essential. You should also be comfortable working in a player-manager style role that combines leadership with direct execution.
