Join Sobeys in Windsor, Ontario as a full-time Meat Cutter. In this store-based role, you’ll prepare meat products for customers, create appealing meat displays, and help maintain a welcoming, efficient department that supports both customer service and team engagement.

What you’ll do

• Serve customers courteously and handle their needs in the meat department.
• Prepare meat items for sale and customer purchase.
• Set up and merchandise the meat section when required.
• Keep the meat department clean, organized, and well maintained.
• Receive meat deliveries and orders.
• Handle special meat requests from customers.
• Take part in ongoing professional learning and development.
• Follow company meat standards and Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) rules.
• Implement all relevant company procedures and standards.
• Carry out administrative tasks as needed.
• Train newer team members and clerks on technical aspects of the role.
• Support the Meat Manager, Clerk Department, or Second Meat role where applicable.

What we’re looking for

• Solid working knowledge of department operations and related meat-cutting skills.
• Ability to work on your own in a busy, fast-moving environment.
• High school diploma.
• At least 12 months of relevant experience.
