Outdoor Worker

Role overview

Gannawarra Shire Council is looking for an Outdoor Worker to join its team on a permanent full-time basis. This position offers a fortnightly rostered day off, PPE supplied by the employer, and on-site parking.

What the role involves

The role is focused on the upkeep, repair and construction of a variety of municipal assets across the Shire. You will work on roads, bridges, footpaths, parks, gardens and buildings, with day-to-day tasks varying depending on the location and needs of the Council.

Selection criteria

Applications will be considered against the following key factors:

• Holding the necessary licences and tickets, with a medium rigid truck licence preferred
• A solid understanding of workplace health and safety practices
• Previous relevant experience in similar work
