Painter / Personalization Artist

About the role

Moynat, established in Paris in 1849, is among the most historic French luxury trunk makers. Known for fine craftsmanship, heritage, and bespoke personalization, the brand is hiring a Painter / Personalization Artist to support its expanding personalization business in Singapore.

What you will do

• Deliver hand-painted personalization work on Moynat leather goods, canvas bags, trunks, and small leather accessories.
• Produce customized artwork such as initials, motifs, and made-to-order designs based on client preferences.
• Complete every piece in line with Moynat’s craftsmanship expectations and brand standards.
• Keep each project polished and precise, with strong focus on finish and detail.
• Coordinate personalization orders, production timelines, and delivery commitments.
• Partner with boutique teams for client-facing events, VIP sessions, and in-store activations.
• Contribute ideas for exclusive personalization themes and seasonal artwork concepts.
• Handle the upkeep, arrangement, and stock control of paints, tools, and related materials.
• Support post-sale queries related to personalization when needed.

Requirements

• A diploma or degree in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, Design, Illustration, or a closely related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Prior exposure to painting, illustration, calligraphy, customization, or personalization work will be an added advantage.
• Strong artistic ability with solid freehand painting and drawing skills.
• Genuine interest in art, craftsmanship, and luxury products.
• A creative approach paired with careful attention to detail and quality.
• Good communication and people skills.
• Ability to work on your own and manage several assignments at once.
• Experience using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate, or similar creative software is beneficial.
• Open to learning and adapting to Moynat’s personalization methods and luxury service expectations.
