Role Overview

The organization is seeking a Performance Tester for its Noida Sector 68 location. This is a full-time position for a professional with 3 to 8 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and run performance tests covering load, stress, spike, endurance, and volume scenarios.
• Build reusable automation scripts to support performance testing efforts.
• Investigate application bottlenecks across CPU, memory, database, network, and thread usage.
• Partner with development and DevOps teams to improve performance and stability.
• Assess scalability and reliability in distributed systems and microservices-based applications.
• Compile benchmark results and create clear performance test summary reports.
• Embed testing activities into CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop automated test workflows using scripting and programming languages.
• Work in containerized and cloud-native setups as part of release engineering efforts.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams throughout release cycles.

Technical Skills and Tools

The role involves hands-on use of performance testing tools, scripting languages, API testing tools, SQL, Linux commands, shell scripting, version control, CI/CD platforms, observability tools, and cloud/container technologies.

Preferred Background

Experience with microservices testing is preferred, along with familiarity with distributed tracing and observability platforms. Candidates with exposure to banking, fintech, healthcare, or enterprise SaaS environments will be an added advantage. Performance testing certifications are also desirable.

Soft Skills

Strong problem-solving and analysis skills, effective communication, stakeholder coordination, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities are important for this role.

Nice-to-Have Exposure

Additional experience in shift-left testing practices and event-driven systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ is beneficial.
