Role Summary
The Personal Assistant will provide administrative, organisational, and coordination support to the Founder/Adviser. The position involves managing calendars, arranging travel, handling communications, and preparing documents and reports. The role also requires discretion, strong prioritisation, and the ability to serve as a dependable contact for both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
The role covers external relationship management, internal engagement, study trip coordination, and general administrative support. It also includes time spent at a designated programme or centre to stay close to frontline work and understand client needs, since the role depends heavily on close interaction with social workers, programme staff, clients, and partners.
The successful candidate may also be asked to support other C-suite leaders from time to time.
Additional Information
As part of the role, the candidate is expected to spend an estimated 1 to 2 days per week assigned as manpower support at a designated programme or centre. This is meant to build familiarity with frontline work and strengthen understanding of client-facing operations.
This position may involve supporting other members of the senior leadership team depending on organisational needs.
Qualifications and Experience
A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as Business Administration, Public Policy, or Communications is preferred.
The role calls for 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in executive support, secretariat work, or project coordination.
Competencies
The ideal candidate should be people-focused, communicate clearly in both spoken and written form, and remain effective in a busy, deadline-driven environment. Strong stakeholder management, initiative, resourcefulness, organisation, report writing, analytical thinking, technological comfort, and teamwork are also important.
Selection Note
Only candidates who are shortlisted will be contacted.
