Porter/Groundskeeper

Role overview

Yugo USA is hiring a full-time, hourly Porter/Groundskeeper for the Easton Corvallis community in Corvallis, Oregon. This on-site role focuses on keeping the property clean, presentable, and safe for residents and visitors. The position supports the overall quality and value of the community through consistent upkeep, light repairs, and responsive service.

What you will do

• Keep the community neat by handling day-to-day grounds care, waste removal, and cleaning shared spaces like hallways and courtyards.
• Get vacant homes ready for move-in by cleaning appliances, windows, floors, and fixtures to a high standard.
• Support unit turnover work and help the Property Maintenance Manager during busy turnover periods.
• Maintain common facilities such as the office, clubhouse, laundry rooms, and model units so they remain welcoming.
• Flag unusual property conditions, maintenance concerns, and supply shortages to the General Manager or Maintenance Supervisor.
• Handle small repair tasks such as replacing light bulbs and broken fixtures both indoors and outdoors.
• Protect company property, tools, and equipment by using them properly and keeping them secure.
• Work in line with OSHA safety rules, attend safety training, and use the required protective equipment.
• Maintain pool and spa areas when applicable and follow local safety and certification requirements.
• Follow maintenance procedures, emergency readiness practices, and company policies at all times.
• Be prepared for occasional work around machinery, heights, fumes, chemicals, and varied weather, while being able to lift items of 50 pounds or more.
• Assist with other maintenance, operational, and property improvement work as needed.

Required experience and qualifications

Applicants should have at least one year of relevant experience, ideally in residential properties, rental operations, or a related business operations environment. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. The role also calls for strong communication and relationship-building abilities, a focus on accuracy and quality, the ability to solve problems promptly, and comfort using technology and online systems. Carbon Literacy certification is preferred, or the willingness to complete training.

Compensation and benefits

This is an hourly position offering $15.00 to $16.00 per hour.
