Role Overview
This contract position is for a Power BI Developer based in Canada and delivered entirely remotely. The work centers on business intelligence reporting, with emphasis on Tableau and Power BI development, along with SSRS and SQL.
Technical Focus
The ideal professional should have 10+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI development. The role also calls for experience working across Tableau, Power BI, and SSRS environments.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for building, supporting, and improving interactive dashboards and reports. A major part of the job is turning business needs into clear visual reporting solutions that help teams make decisions.
You will also write and refine SQL queries to pull data from various sources, shape it for reporting, and support analysis.
Maintaining data quality, improving report performance, and tuning BI solutions for efficiency are also core parts of the assignment.
In addition, you will work closely with stakeholders to deliver complete BI solutions and actionable insights from end to end.
