Role overview
Join a contract-based remote research role focused on generating decision-ready private equity analysis. The work centers on supporting investment evaluation, market assessment, and the preparation of high-quality outputs used in deal workflows.
This position is structured for professionals who can independently handle research-intensive assignments and deliver clear, investment-oriented insights.
Compensation: USD 130 per hour. The expected commitment is 10+ hours per week.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and improve financial models that help guide investment decisions.
- Create organized investment memos and concise analytical summaries.
- Perform market sizing work, including total addressable market analysis.
- Review deal documents such as CIMs and supporting diligence materials.
- Assist sourcing efforts by researching and screening potential opportunities.
Core requirements
- Solid understanding of private equity deal processes and investment review methods.
- Proven strength in building financial models and structuring analysis.
- Comfort working with transaction documents and due diligence materials.
- Ability to convert complex findings into concise, readable written insights.
- Reliable performance in independent, project-based work settings.
