The role
As Product Manager, you will join the Product, Research, and Design group and own the outcomes for a stream-aligned team working on next-generation tooling for frontier AI model developers. The position combines strategic product leadership with close collaboration across engineering, design, research, analytics, and other business teams.
What you will do
- Own the product direction, delivery, and outcomes for your team.
- Help shape and launch the next generation of Prolific’s Data Collection Tooling suite.
- Track developments in frontier AI research and adapt the product to evolving customer needs.
- Guide the full product lifecycle, from strategy and success metrics through roadmaps, delivery, and iteration.
- Present product strategy to senior leaders while also working through detailed decisions with the team.
- Simplify complexity, remove blockers, and turn problems into practical solutions for colleagues.
- Work closely with Product Design, User Research, Analytics, and Engineering in a test-learn-iterate approach.
What you should bring
You should have a broad track record working inside technology teams with engineers and designers, plus strong B2B product experience, ideally in large enterprise environments. The role calls for familiarity with common product methods and tools, a data-led mindset, and confidence experimenting with AI-enabled product techniques and building proofs of concept.
Additional expectations
- Experience building AI-native systems, especially AI-native user experiences.
- Ability to convert complex human workflows into flexible technical systems that scale across UI, APIs, CLIs, and MPCs.
- Strong judgment in prioritisation, trade-offs, and focus.
- Comfort working with multiple internal stakeholders across science, research, supply, sales, and account services.
- Working style aligned to reliability, grit, diplomacy, bias for action, and a strong focus on value.
- Personal accountability and autonomy.
Preferred experience
- Scale-up or startup background.
- Experience in AI/ML training or AI/ML development.
- Contribution to the wider product community.
