Role overview
Anthem Properties Group Ltd. is seeking a Project Coordinator to support Project Manager(s) in planning and delivering construction work. This role focuses on coordinating schedules, labour, materials, equipment, cost control, and change management while helping keep projects organized and moving forward.
What you will do
- Set up and attend project meetings, prepare meeting notes, and make sure follow-up tasks and pre/post-meeting deliverables are completed on time.
- Handle permit-related processes as needed and help coordinate logistics to support smooth day-to-day project activity.
- Review project risks and issues, recommend practical solutions, and help manage stakeholder expectations to support good outcomes.
- Examine budgets and cost forecasts carefully and work with the project management team to maintain financial accuracy.
- Keep communication records, decision registers, and project fact sheets current throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain issue and risk logs, including tracking mitigation actions and management updates.
- Ensure project documentation stays current and accurate, including drawings, plans, submittals, document logs, purchase orders, and related records.
- Review subcontractor and supplier progress claims as well as payment certificates.
- Coordinate with architects, consulting engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers on contract notices, change notices, design revisions, RFIs, RFQs, and similar matters.
- Help prepare final project documentation for handover to the client at project completion.
- Track and coordinate deficiencies promptly and efficiently.
What you bring
- A post-secondary degree or diploma in a construction-related field.
- At least 3 years of experience supporting projects, ideally with an ICI general contractor or subcontractor.
- Background working on commercial and/or institutional projects through the full project lifecycle.
- Ability to read and understand contract specifications, drawings, and other construction documents.
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and SharePoint.
- Excellent organization and time-management capabilities.
- Ability to manage priorities effectively as workload increases.
